PRAYER and PRAISE LIST

Good morning everyone.

Please keep Sharon and I in your prayers.
As most of you know, we are in the middle of
remodeling our home. Well, last evening our home
caught on fire and was totally destroyed. we were not
living there at the time and were just starting to
paint the inside as most of the remodel was being
completed. Sharon's mother has been ill of late and
Sharon is in Montana right now. I have talked with her
a couple of times and she is doing ok. The local fire
chief feels very strongly that the fire was not due to
the remodel, but rather to an old chimney that may
have had a void that dried out the beams near it to
the point of combustion. Doug Esselstyn and I were
painting in the house on Monday and had a fire in the
insert, but it was down to just small embers when we
left around 4pm. we are staying at a church friends
guest house and I was there when I got the call form
my brother (who is a firefighter) that the house was
 on fire.
I want you all to know that both Sharon and I praise
God that this happen when it did.
The house was totally empty and all our belongings are
in a mobile storage trailer on the property.
We don't always know why God sends us curveballs in
life but we do praise him even in this storm.
 I am meeting with the insurance people this morning;
pray for us that all goes well.

This is a follow up on prayer request that is posted above.

Would you please post this for me on the prayer board.

I want to THANK EVERONE who has been praying for

my family and I.  It has been such a huge blessing!

I really did feel the Lord’s peace and comfort while

I was in Alaska with my twin brother Ron and my older brother Brooke.

I am still praying for Ron as he was closest to our sister Melody and her husband Norman.

Also Ron is a believer but does not have a home church for support and is alone.

I’m praising my lord for such a beautiful extended church family we have in Emmaus.

Thank you to all who were a comfort at the men’s walk.

With Christ’s love Lynn Cole

Please put on the prayers that Jean Peterson's 95 year old mom has had a stroke.

Also, please put on that Lynn Cole's sister (and Helen Bayne's niece) and her husband have drowned off the coast of Alaska.

Also Beth Russell's mom died this past week.

This information came from Bobbie Templeman, thanks Bobbie.

IF NOT NOW, WHEN???

EXERCISE, GO FOR A WALK WITH JESUS!

DEATH, THE END OF EXCUSES THE START OF ETERNITY!

God's Graciousness is the door to a new beginning!

Hi. This is my devotional for today.  Thought you'd enjoy it.

One thing never changes,
It remains the same forever-
God truly loves His children
and He will forsake them never!

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear or be in dread of them; for it is the Lord your God who goes with you;
He will not fail you or forsake you.  Deuteronomy 31:6

This is the day to repeat to yourself, "God will never abandon me, and I must never abandon Him!"  Helen Steiner Rice ><>  6/4/2007

"LORD, I LOVE YOU AND I NEED YOU, COME INTO MY HEART AND BLESS MY FAMILY, MY HOME, MY FRIENDS, AND ME.  THANK YOU LORD JESUS."  ><>  3/25/2005

Prayer Wheel .... This will be an ongoing prayer.

"Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us. Bless them
and their families for the selfless acts they
perform for us in our time of need. I ask this
in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
Amen."

A special prayer for the leaders of our country that they make wise and Christian decisions.  ><> 1/17/04
